Free business email check
Type your domain to see whether its email is set up to reach the inbox. The check reads your MX, SPF, DKIM and DMARC records and explains each result in plain English.
Something needs attention. We can fix SPF, DKIM and DMARC for you, usually within a few working days.
SPF, DKIM and DMARC explained
Three DNS records decide whether other email services trust messages from your domain. Here is what each one does.
SPF: who is allowed to send
SPF is a TXT record on your domain listing the services allowed to send email as you, such as Microsoft 365, Google Workspace or your accounting software. A receiving service compares the sending server against that list. A domain should have exactly one SPF record.
DKIM: a signature on every message
DKIM adds a digital signature to each email your provider sends. The matching public key is published in your DNS under a name called a selector. If the signature checks out, the receiver knows the message was not altered and really came from your provider.
DMARC: what to do with fakes
DMARC tells receiving services what to do when a message claims to be from your domain but fails SPF and DKIM: let it through and report it (none), send it to junk (quarantine) or refuse it (reject). It also lets you receive reports about who is sending as you.

Email check FAQ
Is the email check really free?
Yes. There is no sign-up and nothing to install. The check runs in your browser and we don’t store the domain you enter.
Why does it say DKIM was not found on common selectors?
DKIM keys are published under a name, called a selector, chosen by your email provider. The check tries the common ones used by Microsoft 365, Google Workspace and many other services. If your provider uses a different selector your DKIM may still be working, so treat the result as a prompt to confirm rather than proof of a problem.
My results look fine but emails still go to spam. Why?
Authentication is only part of the picture. Message content, sending volume, a poor domain or server reputation, or the recipient’s own rules can still send mail to junk. We can look at the whole picture on a free call.
Can you fix what the check finds?
Yes. Our fix for emails going to spam covers SPF, DKIM and DMARC, or you can book a free call and we will talk it through.
